Denis is a developer of molecular genetic test-systems for bacterial infection detecting, including pathogenic aeromonas, pseudomonas and other activators of bacterial diseases of fish. He also has developed bacteriological technique for detecting and typing infectious agents, including special growth medium and biochemical test systems;
biological products based on bacteriophage for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of bacterial diseases, decontamination of various objects; biological products based on bacteria-oil destructors for detoxification of natural objects polluted with oil;
biological products for recycling.
The developer of the method for Noninvasive Detection of Fetal RhD Status and Fetal Gender, Russian Youth prize holder in nanoindustry and prize winner of exhibitions in Korea and Taiwan.
Mr. Toropovsky holds a degree from Samara State Medical University in clinical laboratory diagnostics. In 2013 he was a participant of the Presidential Managerial Human Resources Training Program in Kazan State Medical University. Prior to founding GeNext, Andrey Toropovsky worked at the Samara Clinical Center for Cellular Technologies and Gene-Technology, LLC in Samara. He is a member of European Federation for Immunogenetics (EFI) and American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI). Andrey is a holder of a patent for invention “Olegonucleotide primers and probes kits for embrio or fetus RHD status detection in fetal DNA from the blood of an RHD-negative pregnant woman”, and co-author of scientific publications.
